The CoE team together with Director Volker Jacoby warmly welcomed Finnish Ambassador Anne Sipiläinen to the Centre’s premises in Berlin. The CoE team introduced the Ambassador to the Berlin office space and gave her an overview of the Centre's work and priorities. 

Ambassador Sipiläinen looks back on more than 33 years of experience working in European Foreign Policy. Prior to her ambassadorship in Germany, Anne Sipiläinen was Under-Secretary of State for Foreign and Security Policy at the Finnish Ministry for Foreign Affairs.  

Finland is a founding member of the CoE and was the first member to second a high-profile specialist to the Centre in Berlin. 

CoE Director Volker Jacoby extended the distinguished guest a standing invitation to the Centre to continue the fruitful exchange in the future.
