The following document provides guidance on the process of secondments of environmental advisors. It incorporates key take-aways from CoE and Cluster workshops and other products, including guidance documents and factsheets. The CoE stands ready to support its members every step of the way through advice, consultation, and provision of tailored solutions.

These updated guidelines provide a comprehensive resource to enhance gender integration in CSDP civilian missions. Aimed at all mission personnel, they are intended to be a concrete and helpful tool for mainstreaming the gender dimension, both in the implementation of mandates and in the internal functioning of missions.

This UN policy provides guidance on the role of United Nations Civil-Military Coordination (UN-CIMIC) in UN peacekeeping missions at the operational and tactical levels. UN-CIMIC is a military staff function that contributes to facilitating the interface between military and civilian components.

The strategy and action plan stems from the 2018 Compact commitment to increase women's representation in civilian CSDP missions. It defines expected outcomes and sets specific targets in a given time frame and identifies four areas of strategic engagement, accompanied by actions and means to monitor progress towards the set targets. It also includes a comprehensive overview of the state of play. The document is useful for anyone interested in the developments in women's equal participation and gender balance in civilian CSDP missions, but it's particularly useful for Member States working on policy-making and implementation on Women, Peace and Security and gender equality more generally.

Finland has been the first country that published a national action plan on the implementation of the UN Security Council Resolution 2250 on Youth, Peace and Security. The resolution recognises the positive and active role of youth in preventing and resolving conflicts, building peace, and preventing violent extremism.

The fourth edition of the Handbook provides a complete, detailed, and current analysis of the European CSDP. It compiles texts from different experts involved in CSDP and presents its context, goals, stakeholders, and processes.

In March 2020, a parliamentary committee was set up and tasked to make Finland’s crisis management activities more effective and to ensure better use of resources and sufficient participation volumes. The report of the committee is an example of Member State's policy developments and concrete objectives on crisis management.

This communication strategy has been developed by the International Forum for the Challenges of Peace Operations, a global partnership of 50 stakeholders hosted by Folke Bernadotte Academy (FBA). It is intended to serve as a guide and tool for Challenge Forum partners, helping them to use communication clearly and effectively, with the overall aim of helping deliver the forum’s strategy 2019-2023. It can be used as a model for the development of a communication strategy for other international organisations.
