Kaisa is Policy Officer for Knowledge Management at the CoE. Previously, she was a Political Assistant at the CoE, and before that Kaisa worked at the Crisis Management Centre (CMC) Finland which is a national centre of expertise in civilian crisis management. Kaisa has also worked at the Permanent Mission of Finland to the United Nations in the Unit for Peace and Security.

Kaisa holds Bachelor’s degrees in Peace and Conflict Studies and Business Administration, and a Master’s in Communication for Development. She speaks Finnish, English and Swedish, and has lived abroad in Sweden and the United States.
