Kaisa Kopsa
Political AssistantKaisa is a Political Assistant at the CoE. Before joining the CoE, Kaisa worked at the Crisis Management Centre (CMC) Finland which is a national centre of expertise in civilian crisis management. Kaisa has also worked at the Permanent Mission of Finland to the United Nations in the Unit for Peace and Security.
Regarding the CoE’s thematic priorities, her work is specifically focused on National Career Path Development (NCPD) and Gender Mainstreaming and Increasing Women’s Participation in Civilian Crisis Management. She also works with the CoE’s internal Human Resources as well as the conceptualisation and implementation of the Centre’s events, i.e., workshops and conferences.
Kaisa holds Bachelor’s degrees in Peace and Conflict Studies and Business Administration, and a Master’s in Communication for Development. She speaks Finnish, English and Swedish, and has lived abroad in Sweden and the United States.
