Additionally, other important arrangements relating to the budget and decision-making are explained. The model is the basis for all Finnish engagements in international civilian crisis management missions and operations including civilian CSDP missions where Finland is a major contributor.

Third State participation has been a part of EU civilian CSDP since the first mission was launched in 2003. This index from EUR-Lex of Framework Participation Agreements (FPAs) provides a timeline of the EU’s broadening ties to Third States through a standardised system of bilateral agreements for CSDP. The FPAs regulate important aspects of the relationship between the parties such as initiation and termination of Third State participation, hierarchy and discipline of personnel, confidentiality of shared information, and financing of missions.

This text is a translation of the German law text "Act to Revise the Act to Regulate Secondment Support within the Framework of Civilian Crisis Prevention Operations". It first defines what a secondment contract is and then elaborates on secondees' benefits, covering subjects such as their health insurance or travel expenses.

The strategy, approved in 2017, refers to the Belgian vision, priorities, and ambition to contribute to the efforts of the international community to prevent or deal with foreign crises by means of non-military actions.

This is Sweden's agreement on overseas contracts and guidelines on employment conditions in service abroad. All Swedish seconding authorities apply this agreement for seconding staff to civilian CSDP missions (as well as other overseas operations).

The Act on the Participation of Civilian Personnel in Crisis Management (unofficial English translation) has been adopted in 2004 and amended in 2022. It presents various aspects of Finland's participation in international crisis management.
