An overview of the roles of environmental advisors in CSDP and the benefits they provide to missions.

Deliverable 12 of the 2023 Civilian CSDP Compact mandates that Member States ensure all civilian CSDP missions have at an environmental advisor to direct environmental impact management of the mission. This factsheet summarises the specific roles a seconded environmental advisor would have in a mission, and the different ways the advisor's work would materially benefit the mission.
