Staffan Westfahl is a Senior Advisor from Sweden. He is seconded by the Swedish Police, and has previously spent time working as a Special Advisor at the Ministry of Justice. Staffan has completed various international assignments and secondments, with experience working for the UN mission in Kosovo, as a Police Advisor/Counsellor at the Swedish Permanent Mission to the UN in New York, as a Legal Counsellor and the CivCom delegate for Sweden in Brussels, and as a Strategic/Operational Planner at the EEAS.

During his years in the Police Service, half of Staffan's time has been spent in international assignments in different roles and capacities.

Staffan is fluent in Swedish and English and has some knowledge of German.
