Johanna brings over two decades of expertise in international affairs, policy making, and diplomacy. 

Her extensive experience includes serving as State Secretary to the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Finland and as Senior Advisor at the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in New York. She has also held leading positions in civil society organisations focused on peace and security. Her prior experience includes roles as a Member of the Finnish Parliament and Helsinki City Councillor, as well as positions at the Finnish Embassy in London and the Finnish Institute in the UK and Ireland.
