Jaqueline Carleson is a human resource management professional with 20 years of experience in international development, human resources management, and crisis management. She is seconded to the CoE from the Folke Bernadotte Academy (FBA) in Sweden. 

Prior to joining the CoE, Jaqueline served as a Senior International Deployment Officer at FBA, where she was responsible for secondments and broader human resource management improvement processes related to CSDP and UN peacekeeping missions. In this role, she worked on issues including recruitment, duty of care, and codes of conduct. Before joining FBA, she worked with UNDP and UNFPA, managing global portfolios covering staff engagement, recruitment and selection, occupational health and safety, organisational development, and inter-agency coordination. 

Jaqueline holds a Master's degree in International Development, Education and Health Promotion from University College London (UCL) and a Bachelor’s degree from Uppsala University. She is fluent in Swedish and English.
