Ida Eriksson has more than 20 years of experience in the field of Environmental Science and Politics, and holds a degree from the University of Gothenburg in Environmental Politics. She has worked for national agencies and municipalities on implementation and policy making as an officer, advisor and as a consultant in different roles. Ida's focus in recent years has been on water, flooding as well as water shortage, and how to better plan and prepare our societies for a changing climate. 

Ida has experience as a project manager, team manager, and senior expert. She speaks English, Swedish and German.

She has been seconded to field missions in the Central African Republic and Sudan as an Environmental Expert on behalf of the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (MSB).
